Once I get the body off of my 79 Vette I need a new paint job. What is the best way to get the paint off? Can you sandblast it or use some commerical strip paint?

Ask & watch the pro's!!!!!!

I would find out who is the best painter of fiberglass in your area and watch them or ask them what it will cost and how they plan on doing it. Ask around at different paint shops and you will get the drift.

I agree, mine is in the paint shop as we speak. I had the same thoughts as you but the fiberglass is too sensitive for someone that is inexperianced as me in the paint field. mine would have costed around 3900 to 4400 but that was pulling everything off. Some prices may be real cheap but make sure that they are not planning to tape off most of the car, it will look like sh1t in most instances if you do it that way. I hope you find a good painter and good luck with your project.

P.S.- I HAD a 77' So I sure hope your c3 comes out good, cause that body style is 2nd to none!!!

I am an addict
