Anyone know if you have to drain the transmission (84-4+3) in order to remove the VSS? (VehicleSpeed Sensor)
 
If it is anything like the old speedo cables you shouldn't have to, just have something to catch what spills out.
 
You shouldn't have to from what I've seen. It may be worth it to put the rear end up some ramps just in case.

Hey Brian....glad you found your way back here...I changed the VSS already, and it only leaks a tiny bit...just don't put your face under it when you remove it.
