The passenger side window switch in my 94 only works going up but not down. Window works fine both ways from driver's side switch. I figure I need a new switch, or at least try cleaning the contacts on the old switch. Everything I read says the first and easiest step is to first pull or replace the switch, but nothing tells me how to remove the switch.

Does the switch pop out of the door or do you need to pull the door panel off ? My 94 has only 10,000 original miles and is in new condition. I don't want to leave any unnecessary scratches or marks on the door panel.

Appreciate direction to You-Tube, but it doesn't apply....

This might help

I do appreciate the direction, I saw this You-Tube movie....

The You-Tube shows the early C-4 with the window switches in the center console. The 94 has the switch in the door.
I need to know if the switch pops out of the door or do you need to pull the door panel off ?
