We are trying to get some information on the various flywheels they have in the aftermarket. We've seen companies like LUK and Fidenza have aluminum flywheels, but are unsure whether these are dual mass or single mass. Also if anyone installed an aluminum flywheel I'd like to know how it runs and if there is any drawbacks. If anyone has any information about a company that makes a replacement clutch and flywheel assembly that is steel for a corvette I'd also like to know. I have a 1989 Corvette with the tell tell signs of a dual mass flywheel failure and think that the 800+ price for a replacement plus the clutch is a little high.
