I have some major damage on the weather stripping on the doors and ttops on my 1981 vette, and have decided to go ahead and replace all of it. Does anybody have any tips or sugestions as to the process to make it go more smoothly? I plan on using the 3m Black weatherstipping glue.

Hey Gambit - use the search tool above, I found some good tips here. Also www.corvettefaq.com has good info.

Hope this helps.

the only tip I can give you is when you go to put the screws back in be gentle with them as I think there is a piece of spring steel underneath that the screws go into,I had trouble at first trying to push down on them while getting them started

good luck bill...........:w
