Important! Research EGR Solenoid

Did more research on the EGR solenoid for a 1986?
As most of have found out GM stop making them and you can’t get an aftermarket ones any more either.
But after doing more digging I found the EGR solenoid off 1991 to 1995 I think fits and works on our earlier Corvettes you need to modify the metal mounting bracket and change the plug to a new type plug.
So no more buying this part from a wrecking yard and hope you had gotten a good one and over paying for an old used electrical part.

I say it would be nice if someone came up with a plug adaptor so you didn't have to cut/mod any wires. Or maybe one could do that themselves?
