As much as I want to keep this car original, I finally had to put the old Carter AFB on the shelf. I can't believe how much better this car runs with a new Edelbrock on here.Wow! The AFB had been rebuilt twice in the last year and a half, and it still worked like crap. Nothing on it was very tight, the choke needed a new coil spring, it tended to load up, and my garage smelled like gas for several hours after I pulled in. I always said that I wanted to keep it original, but I'd rather have it run like it's supposed to run. The Carter sits next to the Wonderbar radio(it still works) on the shelf now. Hhmmmm....maybe a rack and pinion setup now? Disc brakes? Am I losing it?:W:rotfl

No. You're getting it. ;)

Wait till you change out the motor for a "572'' Big Block and then go for a Richmond 5 or 6 speed. Then...you'll really get it..:D;LOL
