Had this pretty rusty 74 Coupe to restore for a project. I have a second frame and Bird cage just in Case. I also want to make sure it is reliable and fun to drive. Thinking about the 5.3 LS motor with 6 Speed Auto Trans for replacement and update. Has any one completed such a swap? Any feedback or tips to such a project? I had been off line for a long time so it is good to back in the Vette Action.
I am also looking for any fellow Veterans in the Northern Virginia area willing to volunteer on this restoration project to begin in Feb 2017 near Chantilly. Like to find 3-6 retired Vets to kick of this project.
