For my next big question, where does the reverse lockout bracket mount on the tranny? I have been looking at the diagram in the assembly manual and trying to make sense of it. Rolling under and out several times and still cant see.
Also while I am at it, can you tell me where the switch on the short shift lever goes to.

These two connections and I will be finished installing the tranny. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

GOT IT

I did some more studying in the books I have and slid back up under the car. Then someone told me where to look and sure enough it was clear as can be where it was to go.

How about this. The bracket I am talking about has the cable with the spiral wrap, around it. It goes at the top bolt where the back half of the first rear section of transmission mounts to the main body. That rod is one of the forward shift levers.

I had to take 2 quick pictures because my camera said I had 3 minutes worth of battery left.

This is the second of the two pics. A lot like the first so click on it if you like. The stainless bolt is there because I couldn`t come up with the original bolt. Somehow it got misplaced. Imaging that. If you saw my garage you would understand.:D Same for the mickey mouse ears that go on the reverse lockout to hold it in the bracket.
