right speedometer gear

question , anyone know what the right speedometer gear is for a 3:55 gear with 205-60-tires ( 26" tall ). It for an 81 with a TH350 tranie.

I had a 22 tooth gear, to begin with that was acurate to 2 or 3 MPH. I know I need biger but which one ? I see a 24 or 25 tooth avalible, what do ya think ??

cmegga: Trans shop should be able to help you out with that. There's a speedo-shop here near me that does speedo repair & calibrating. OK...I know that your not in my neighborhood, but there migh be one of these types of shops in your area. This is the kinda place that can help you out. Either that, or a Chevy dealership.
