Rim center caps

I am in need of the wheel center caps for my 1981 vette. Don't know what happened to them, but they are gone. If anyone knows of a web-site or an auto dealer that may have them please let me know.

Someone on ebay always has a set for sale...new ones....go for about $40 for the set. I got some and they look fine.

I bought a pair for my '81 on ebay several months (pre-Katrina) ago. They were from a small parts company located in MS. I think I saved the address label from the package at home somewhere. I will look around tonight. They fit tight and look good. There is a very, very, very small deviation in the center emblem from my original ones. Have to put the two together to see any difference. I'm happy with them and they were priced much lower from the major catalogs. I don't remember exactly how much, but the center emblem came with hubs. They were in the $10-12 range each.

This subject comes up often as these things tend to have a mind of there own and leave occasionally. Here is a past thread on the subject. As you can see in post #7 they are still available from GM too.
