I can never win. I got new tires, paid for them through my *** and i got home to check them out further and clean off the tires, and found my rims to be ALL gouged up, and scrapes on the outer area next to the tire. I guess to pry the tires out they must have used big metal bars or something. And on my front rim driver side, this gouge near the tire edge that runs about 1/3 the way arround the rim. The scratches and dents are nice and shiney, so it appears these just happened.
My rims are the alloy GS costing $400+++ each! They are old and a little beat up, but i know it was not this bad as i had just cleaned everything monday.
I plan to get pics tomorrow.
I also plan to going to the Goodyear place and see what the explaination is!
Has anyone else run into this? What evidence do I have to prove it wasnt damaged before? This is much, much worse than minor damage touching a curb, which i RARELY park on any streets.
