Road noise on 97 C5

OK guys, I luv my car, but the tire and road noise on the freeway is a bit much. (Now I know why they put a BOSE in these cars!) Is there anything I can do to minimize the noise?

If you are running runflats w/ about 20,000mi on them thats your problem.

My mom has a 97 with the EMT's. My dad is always complaining about the noise. My 01 has the extended-mobility F1 tire. I haven't compared the tread pattern yet but the F1 is much quieter. I'll check it out today when my dad comes over to watch the race.

I have the runflats on my 2000, don't care for the noise either soooo I went out and bought Nitto 555r's drag radials. I have 17x9.5 up front and 17x11.5 in the rears. The noise has been cut down greatly, but with the XR Borla Stingers I don't hear any road noise at all any more. :D These tires are all rubber and just barely enough tread to get by inspection. I don't recommend them in the rain. :D
