Going to be Installing Roller Rockers on my 95' and checked the procedure in my FSM. Doesn't look too difficult but I have a question.

To adjust the valves I need to put the scribe mark of the Hub facing straight up with #1 in Firing position.Well, Isn't the Hub behind the Harmonic Balancer? I would hope there's a Line on the balancer as well or otherwise I'd have to remove the Harmonic Balancer to see the Hub.?

Does this make sense?

LT1s don't have a timing mark and the hub is not keyed to the crankshaft, but thats not a problem since I use EOIC method.

In a nutshell when the exhaust valve just starts to open, adjust the intake valve of that cylinder. When the intake valve is closing, adjust the exhaust valve .Turn the adjusting nut down until pushrod play ends and go another 1/4-1/2 turn . Repeat the process on the next 7 cylinders
