Has anyone done a roller cam retro-fit, such as the kits from comp cams? If so how were the results performance and reliability wise? Thanks and God bless

Is it really possible that nobody has done this? I would have thought it would be somewhat common among C3 owners (an invisible performance boost). Still looking for feedback.....

There's lots of articles on these projects. GM switched to them years ago. While these kits are a bit more expensive there is an upside in potential engine performance. Beyond the retrofit retainers there are ways to adapt the GM OEM style retainers. I think they are worth considering

I have a complete Isky kit in my 76 one thing to keep in mind is the distributor gear must be matched to the cam. They are more costly in the beginning. I am quite pleased with mine it has .485-.505 lift and enough vacuum to work the brakes and map sensor properly.
