I have a 2000 coupe. Recently there is a squeaking noise where the roof panel meets the A pillar. The noise occurs randomly, but frequently, when driving. It is worse on the drivers side, but the noise is present where the roof meets the A pillar on the passerger side also. I typically do not hear the noise on both sides at the same time. I can produce the noise by pushing on the A pillar near the roof. I thought the problem may be due to cold weather, but recently it has been in the 70's and the noise persists.

Is this a common problem in 12 year old vettes? It almost seems like something needs to be tightened or lubricated.
There is no wind noise or moisture when it rains.
Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert, but I'd suggest that you remove the roof panel and reinstall it.....just to make sure that it is centered and fitting properly. Also, you can put Dielectric grease on the weatherstripping while the roof is off.
