Rough idle in drive , not in park

Had a blown head gasket, bad driver heads , mechanic fixed and resealed the engine with all new gaskets , new water pump , hoses ect 4000 to fix, mechanics had it for 2 months trying to figure out why it idles rough drive, slight rough idle in park since the reseal of the engine. Replaced egr, fuel injectors , currently relooking at the Valves. Anyone experienced this? It didn’t idle rough before it was worked on.

Do a compression test and a leakage test. That will help you determine if the problem is valve-related.
