Did a fantastic ride this may on my motorcycle with a buddy. Did some of R-66 started at Kingsman, met the barber in Seligman(got our pictures taken with him) anybody know what I am talking about? A fantastic part of American history and I will be back , but this time in my 04 convert, (kind of like the old t.v. series but different. Oh yea, We came down out of Oatman a few years ago and went thru there in a rented Blazer. Last year we got close to going back in my '00. We were on the north side of the Canyon. This fall I would like to get back there in our '05.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Two years ago my wife and I took the Vette and did the entire route from downtown Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier. :Steer It was a great trip. Some friends thought it sounded like a lot of fun, so last fall we had five couples that did the segment from Joliet, IL to Springfield, MO on a long weekend. We saw some things on that trip that we had missed the first time. We would redo the whole trip again. It's like a long scavenger hunt trying to find the road in some places, but that's part of the fun.
