ad This kind of repair should be a Felony in my Book, and is plain and Simple Fraud!!!!!There are still shops that weld frames back together with a torch and brazing rod!!!The high strength steel in todays autos is actually weekend by this method, and a Mig or Tig welder must be used "with other procedures" to maintain the Structural Integrity!!!!!!! There are now allot of states that when a Vehicle is Totaled,It will ALWAYS be SALVAGE and will never be able to be Registered!!!!!And there are other States that are Working on passing Laws that you have to be a Certified Licensed Re builder and Document ALL repairs, and have the proper equipment to do the Job!!! I'm for it!!!!!

ad and the states could easily correct this ... they just won't!I'm sure that "The Junkman" knows exatly what I am talking about, since my truck appears to have gone on "vacation" in Flordia.
IMHO... if a vehicle has ever been "out of state", you better have the car fully inspected by someone who knows what the hell they are doing.
PS ... this may not even show up in "Carfax" if the "repairs" are done cash and the titles ... you get the picture.
