Same old C4 problems

C4 overheating

I had a similiar overheating problem with my 96'. Hot summer day and temp red lined. Took it to a chevy dealer couple of weeks later and everything tested fine. Come spring I'll keep an eye on it to see if it acts up.

.....

yeah before i put radiator fluid in it. i had in only water. that was real bad. had a lot of trouble that week. But since i refilled it with prestone 50/50 i have had no real problem. other than a few times the other day. (reason I posted this) but i think i got it figured out. had a bad hose. small hose from heater core to water pump. had a pin hole in it. butit was still gett'n hot. so i just needed to know if it was normal. and it seems from all the replies i got that my car is just fine. haha for now!!!!

You shouldn't boil over at 220 degrees. Have you checked your radiator cap.
