San Diego-Capitola-San Jose-Vegas-Hoover Dam road trip

So last week I took a cruise up the coast from San Diego. I've been on the 5 and 1 often enough so I took the 101 mostly. The first stop was actually Oxnard to see a frien. After one night it was off to Capitola City of Capitola - About Capitola Introduction

If you ever get the chance, do it ! Great shops for arts and the bartenders are all friendly. The next day the clouds rolled in so off to a unscheduled trip to San Jose. From there Vegas with a layover in Bakersfield for the night (more picku[p trucks with NASCAR stickers than Washington state)

Vegas was 105, my oil temp got to 253 at one point up hill AC blastin cruisin about 80.

The A4 with the 3:15 rear got an avg of 27.1 mpg, not bad for a V8 !

Cool and inspirational makes me wont to go off on that trip tonight. Love the long straight roads and cruising Vegas strip at night with all the neons

Yeah, cruisin the strip in your own car was nice, did that a few times a day !
