Save the Wave/ 2005 Owners chime in.

Am I crazy or what? :crazy We have almost waved our arms off at other Corvette owners and they IGNORE us in the new C6. :upthumbs When we had our C4 it was reciprocated. :w Is it jealousy or just plain ignorance on what the front of a C6 looks like? :confused

Let me explain something, I've been waving to other Corvettes for years, and I can pick off another Vette a mile away.
But the C6 lights make it very difficult to recognize its a Vette coming towards me untill the last few seconds.

I wish they didn't change the lights, the C5 looks better coming toward me than the C6 with those 'common' lights, IMO.

If you’re in a Corvette and I’m not in the middle of a maneuver that requires much concentration, your getting a wave from this Corvette owner!

So far, I've had a good number of C6 owners wave at me in my ’ol C4... kind of a good feeling. It’s like the big brother you looked up to when you were a kid notices you and gives you a thumbs up.

Nobody waves at my C6 :( Well, its around 50%. I did have a C5 guy pull up next to me and blare the horn. Not really sure what that was all about. He just stared at me and layed on the horn.

The new C6 might take some getting used to. I hope they don't shun us. I wave to every Vette regardless of year.

I wave at all generations, but as stated earlier, that front end takes some effort to recognize. I've started to wave more than once only to find out as the car got closer, it wasn't a C6. You guys are hard to pick out. I hope the new Z06 will be a bit easier due to the air scoop, but I know there will not be that many out there.

I don't think I missed any, but just in case,

:w

I can spot a Vette a mile away C6 or not if you got it down in your soul you know it when you see it!

The wave

Thanks, to all of you that have replied so far.:D I thought for a long time that we had the only C6 or it was somehow invisible! I am glad to see that it has generated some interest, and may make those of us who have a C6, feel a little better that our fellow Corvette owners are not avoiding us.:w :bar

I also wave at all Vettes, and so far I'm happy to report that every C6 I've waved at have returned the gesture.

Yesterday I waved at a C6 but when it got closer it was an Eclipse. The driver waved back anyway. Yeah, the front end takes some getting used to.

Drive across the Ben Franklin. Ill wave at ya!!!

I think they don't know the C6-style/look as a vette!:w

-Bill.:L

Also.. don't flame me, but I think some C6 owners are new to the fold and don't yet have our "PASSION" for corvette, or they have so many problems with their c6-vette's that they are ****ed. (again don't flame me!):r
