Saw a BEAUTIFUL '62 at a show yesterday

This was a nice show..ashame the location will end. I saw SOOO many nice cars that I would have picked as BOS...the GS was not one of them....What is Smithville like? Never have been there. For me, the BOS in Wheaton was the red 62 or a Dark Blue Custom....

The Smithville show is a judged show put on by the Boardwalk Corvette Club of Atlantic City. The format is much different than Glasstown as it is totally judged by members of the boardwalk club and known members of other clubs. It is not judged to NCRS standards as it is judged for presentation, cleanliness, beauty, paint, engine, interior, restoration quality etc. There is much more to do for the wives and so's as well. Boardwalk also puts on the Day at the Beach Corvette Style in Ocean City NJ. The cars are displayed on the boardwalk in the afternoon. Turnout is huge and security is very visible. No bicycles, skateboards etc. The police do a pretty good job. This show is a hoot.

I know i'm going to TRY to make the OC, NJ show on the 25th

Yes, a few members left with trophies. Jack for his Calloway, Bruce with his '67, Tom with the '79, and one or two others also got trophies.

BTW, there is another show (mixed cars - Vettes and other cars) in Moorestown, NJ the day before Smithville on Oct. 15th. Moorestown is a nice town and I'm probably going to take a drive up to that show also.

Hagley Museum show is Sunday, but not sure if I am going..Also, the PA Rennasaince faire is sunday and I am trying to get more info. Some folks in the club are going...Also, their is a show Mixed cars in jersey in Mullica hill on saturday..small show....Not sure what I am doing..

Wheaton was a blast...Have you ever been to Smithvilles show in NJ??
