searching for a sounds of corvette record and sleeve any condition.any help greatly appreciated.seeking to frame it for 78yr old uncle who just found out he has als,(lou gehrigs disease).He has had many vettes from 61 fuelie up to lt-1.said he loved trhat record when he bought the car but lost it soon after.will take in any shape with sleeve.Thank you much if you can lead me to one.

Well, I don't know if you're looking to recover the actual, physical record itself, or just the sounds thereon; if the latter, here's a web page that offers a digitized (.mp3) version of the 45 RPM record "Sounds of a 1961 Corvette", which is what I presume you're looking for...? If your uncle has a computer or iPod, you may be able to download it and he can listen to it that way... Also, here's a YouTube upload someone posted of presumably the same recording.

Gotta love the sound of an old-school, V8-powered Corvette...!

Original vinyl/paper from 1961 Corvette news $100, 2. original 33 1/3 (small center hole) and original sleeve $75.00, 3. repoped 45 rpm (large center hole) (yellow) with repoped color sleeve $35.
