is there any way to disable the seatbelt light from showing on the dash? I believe one of my wires is messed up so its always on, even if the seatbelts are plugged in? anyone know how to get rid of it...it gets rather annoying.

Reach under the seat and unplug the connector. If you have power seats, there will be two connectors; the smaller of the two will be the seat belt warning light connector.

really its that easy??? Is that the drivers side seat, passenger or both?

Hopefully the seat bottom cushion will not have to be removed. The '90 manual states that is must, for one of the connectors, but removal is rather simple.

The connector should be on the console side and if you slide the driver's seat all the way forward, it should be next to the inside seat rail. I believe it's a ground wire. I don't believe that the passenger seat has a wire. Neither my 87 or my 92 has a wire on the passenger seat belt.
