Seat belts

Hi, I;m looking to put 93-98 rear camaro seat belts in my 72. I would like to go through back of seat and out front, I know you have to have guide in back of seat and new front seat bezel with opening. Here's where I need advice, the buckle end coming from the retractor seems to wide to fit in seat back and front openings, is there a way you could take off buckle end and just have male end with the square hole cut out to go into seat openings? Thanks for any help, Bob.

Check out this post. You need to pry open the buckle and remove it so you can get it through the slot. I did this on my 71' Vert and it work great.
