I was wondering if anyone has tried the neoprene seat covers from Wet Okole. The prices on Eckler's web page are 260.00 a piece! The neoprene looks like it fits really well and should be very durable. Trying to stay away from the sheepskin. Any input or suggestions would be great! My seats are in very good condition, no scratches or tears, and I want to preserve them.

Its 225 for the pair Im almost positive plus 50? for emblems

I ordered some swatches from them to sample the material. For a wetsuit not so great, for a seat AWSOME I ordered Bright Yellow, Orange, and Red. Nice colors.

They are waterproof/sweat proof also the material is very durable. Also they replace any damaged panel for like 12 bucks.

re..

Thanks. I ordered swatches from them also. I was just wondering if anyone had them in thier Vette, and if they liked them. My seats are close to the C-5 design, so need to research before I order, so they fit like a glove. I never use Ecklers anymore, Had to many problems with them over the years. I refer to them because everyone seems to have a catalogue laying around.

I have a set of Wet Okole covers for my 1993 with sport seats.

I bought black with neon yellow centers. They are currently not on the car.

I took them off of the car because the bright color became dirty quickly, and the dirt appears to be ground into the multi-layer fabric. Scrubbing with their wetsuit shampoo did not remove the dirt. Also, the bright yellow faded quickly in the sun.

Wet Okole advises that to maintain the color, you have to use a cloth cleaner and protectant with UV blockers.

The company has templates for all years seat styles for C4 Corvettes, and the vendors that you order from should quiz you exactingly for your year, model, and seat style.

The fit is perfect.

I had the Wet Okoles on my '95 for almost three years and 50,000 miles. I just sold them because they don't breathe and I'm too lazy to keep taking them off and conditioning the leather.

I paid $250 for the pair with the C4 emblem and shipping.
I ended up selling them for $80, but they were pretty worn, but not that bad. There are easy to clean, I used wetsuit shampoo and a stiff brush, and it got all the dirt out.

There has been a little fading over the years, but I think you'll find that wherever you go.

I have a set installed in my 96 CE. Well, they breath allot better than the leather seats. But not as well as the seat cushion I used but good enough.
The okoles do prevent you from burning the back off your legs during summer hot days especially if you have black interior. You can just use a towel though to prevent that.
I keep my vette garaged 24/7 when I come home after work so I don’t have any fading at all. I installed them about 1.5 yrs ago and they look like new. Keep in mind my car has been my only mode of transportation for the last five yrs, driven everyday to work, around town and up to Long Island. So the covers do get some abuse. They also keep my butt from sliding around during autocross events. I also like the look it give my LT4. I like it better than the gray seats. I’ll take some pics and email it to you. Or post them here if I can figure that out. J

I've had my Wet Okoles for a few years now and they look just a nice as the day I bought them. They're also very easy to clean and they do not fade.
I'll attatch some pics of mine later on today, mine are Grey with black on the sides with a Corvette logo on the head rest.

Here is mine.

Those look very nice. I am now thinking of going with one of the grey colors instead of yellow. I got the yellow swatch in the mail and from just touching it with my fingers it instantly turned black. I do like the embroidery on the headrest too. My biggest issues in my seat cover search have been fit and cleanablility. Thanks for the pics and info!
