Drivers side seat cushion is separating at the seam. My first reaction was to take it to a car upholstry shop for re-stitching, then I decided to check in with you guys and see if there is a resource, especially for a replacement cushion. My next stop is ebay, and I will happily share my findings with y'all. My 96 LT4 is a showpiece and a joy, much of the credit goes to CAC and the members. Many thanks. Denny Nelson:CAC

I doubt anything will cost less or match better than just restitch the original, just look at the guy's work first on someone elses car.

Do it yourself!

If I were you I'd buy the cover for the cushion myself, and attach it yourself.

I upholstered boths seats (cushions and back) in my 86 and it was easier than you think. The seat cushion was the easiest of all, since it's simple to remove.

I bought my cover from www.tld-corvette.com. You'll can make all the tools you need (just a pair of pliers with a notch ground into them) to crimp the "hog rings" (fancy term for a clips).

Not sure if they just sell the seat leather, however.
