While l was checking out a vette l noticed the drivers (black) seat while in very good condition there were creases or spider creases, is this normal.

The vette is an 02 coupe with only 12,000 miles. The owner already told me that he takes only 50 to 75 mile trips.

My 96 had 50,000 miles and was excellent. My interior was beige.

Thanks

Alan

p.s. l'm not getting it cheap so l was concerned.

Kingman,
I have owned 2 Silverado's with leather interiors and it seems each one has developed what you see....maybe it's a GM or cow thing....I don't like it either and try to reduce the wear by getting in and out with out rubbing so much and keeping leather conditioner on the current one.

Hi There:

When I was buying my Corvette I looked at about 20 different cars. I noticed all of them that had black interiors had this spidering concern in at least one of the seats. I believe it is a quality thing and the grade of leather used is not equal to what you would find in the older cars or the newer imports.

However that said I don't think it will effect your enjoyment of the vehicle or the resale value. It is just one of those things like the Column lock problem that goes with the Vette.
