I have a small problem that I hope someone can help
me with. The plastic handle on the back of the passenger
seat that allows the seat to till forward broke off. How much
trouble is it to replace the handle?
Thanks in advance for any help.

My seat back release handle is black plastic. Yours must be made of gold if it's $85+labor:W

I just picked up a cable assembly from my friendly GM dealer.
The assembly includes The handle, cable, brackets, and all the
conections to install in the seat. Price $44.31- Less then I expected.
The installation requires removing the back seat cover. The last
time I played with seat covers things didn't turn out very good
so I went to the local auto upholstery shop. Installation will take
from one to two hours depending if he has to take the seat out?
I don't know what the hourly rate for his labor is but i'm sure
the bill will be in the $100.00 neighborhood.
All this for a $5.00 handle.
Be careful around plastic.
