Well, thanks fellas. I have a new driver's seat belt on order from my Chevy dealer. I called several Vette parts suppliers and they were out of stock and even if they did have them in stock they would have cost $300! :bash
So I called my local Chevy dealer, went there, and now they are on order, I will see them in about three or four days, correct part number and color for GET THIS, NEW OEM, $96!
I WAS going to have to use a junk yard but most of the Vettes in a junk yard are from wrecked vehicles and the FSM is very specific that if you even get into a small crash to replace them. I have NO idea why they are in such short supply though. You would think a life or death part would be readily available. I mean, what was I supposed to use, rope?
