Secret? No, although there are places where parts of the VIN should be found, such as the transmission and engine block, heads, intake, etc.
If you don't mind, please turn the caps (upper case) key off when you type; it's considered "bad form" to use capital letters when posting on the Internet, it's like you're shouting.
Should be just inside the front window...low down on the driver's side. You can see if from the outside looking in...there are no secret spots that I know of.
I have an 86' coupe and I found the serial number stamped into the front frame rails. You have to remove the plastic inner fender wells to see it. Clean off the rails and they should be there.
There are secret locations for vin's on cars. They are kept secret by the manufacturer and only given to the police as needed. This is done for a very good reason. It allows the police to track down stolens that have been re-vin'd. If anybody does know of a secret vin location I would think you wouldn't want to post that on the internet. Why are you looking for it? If you think your car has been re-vin'd you could take it to a state inspection location and have them check it out for you.
