Chris,

Congrats on the Callaway !! What color and transmission did you go with ?

That is sad that the owner seems proud of himself for beating up an 80 thousand dollar car. "They just don't make runflats like thet used to". :puke. I never thought I would ever use that smile on this forum, Sad!

Does it make you feel better knowing that was a GM Corporate car?

It even had line-lock installed and was built just for the burnouts :eek

I don't know if that makes it alright or not. Far be it for me to scold someone else on how to treat their car. We all here have or have had a Corvette, and I love mine and take immense pride in being able to drive and care for a car that other people can only dream about. I was the same way for almost all my life. My uncle took me for a ride in his 67' big block when I was 7, and have been hooked on Vettes' ever since. Maybe I am jealous that GM has cars of this magnatude to just beat up on and destroy. I know that I am not the only one who would gladly give a Z06 a great home and a loving owner. Sorry for the rant. mark

that corvette was a pre production car that could not be sold for use on the public street. it would be crushed later.

Poor Judgement....

So it's ok to purposely wreck the rear bodywork and thrash a beautiful Z06 in front of a group of corvette enthusiasts who agonize over a door ding?

I'm so not impressed.

Yep it's sad, till that point the car was a 100% matching :rotfl
But to be honest, I don't like the vid but it's a good question the car was a loss from the start...

Look, in GM's eye, it's a drop in the advertising budget!

Back on POINT, the first post was about an owner feeling the Callaway vert was going to be better than a 427 limited!
