My replacement front lower valance arrived today.

It's made by Sermersheim and interestingly enough, it all black and glossy. I am not sure if this a gel coat. I do not believe rest of the car is gel coated.

Is there any special prep required for Sermersheim fiberglass parts? I want to be sure that I obtain proper adhesion, etc.

:D

Yeah- I don't see brand new fiberglass very often either!

Scuff it up with 400 sand paper and smooth out the edges around the openings.

Should be good to go!
