Help! service eng soon on my 94

my 94 seems to want me to do something ...... my "service engine soon" light comes on within 15mins / 15 miles. The car doesn't seem to change or act differently .......... any help on where to start?

Use a piece of wire or paper clip and connect Pin 4 to Pin 12 on the Diagnostic connector
located above the drivers right knee.

Turn the ignition On.
Look at the speedometer LCD.
It will display any trouble codes.
Module 1 is the CCM
Module 4 is the PCM
