service engine codes

Got two code readings. P1441, and P0420. Anyone have info on what these codes are?

1441 is a fault in your evaporative emissions control system. I'd clear codes and road test. If the fault resets, you need a scan tester and the factory service manual.

0420 is a fault with the left side catylitic converter. Check for a loose or disconnected rear oxygen sensor on that side. Check for exhaust leaks. Repair any problems you find. Then, inspect the left side cat. If it shows signs of damage due to excessive heat or it rattles, replace the cat. If you find no problems, you need a scan tester and the FSM before you can proceed farther.
