EDIT: No longer closing Saturday morning...

At 10am Saturday the 14th, my wife and I will be arriving at the Bellco credit union bank just off of Dry Creek Rd. in the DTC (Denver Tech Center) to close on the loan for my (very soon to be) 1996 LT4 CE.
(...Note...At this point of typing, I am having a ton of mixed emotions, so I will dump out as many "smiles" I see to try and fit all my feelings.)
:cool :crazy :) :confused :ugh :cry :_rock :cool :crazy :gap :Silly :drink :dance :pat :SLAP :bu :blow :Buttslap :v :m :grouphug: :( :J :blue: :naughty: ;squint: :bar :Steer ;worship :CAC :BOW ;help :hb :Twist :eek :grinshot :booty :bang :puke :lou :W :w :beer :upthumbs :eyerole :D

...
I think that might cover most of my feelings!

Chris,

I don't think you're going to sleep until Saturday night. I know that whenever I'm expecting a new toy of any kind, I dream about it!:L:L:L

Can't wait 'till I get my LT4, hopefully, it'll happen soon. Soon as in this year!

Chris...you think u have emotions now??? Wait till your car is sitting in your driveway and u go inside and look out the window, unbelieving that the vette in the driveway is YOURS..It will blow u away!!!...I bought my first vette, a 1976 a few years ago..had the same emotions..then last year bought another one...a 1979 Greenwood Daytona...Your getting the bug....

Look for vette clubs in your area as well....They are a great way to meet new people, go to shows, cruises and it opens up a WHOLE NEW world..Your wife may like that idea.....Shoot us off some pictures when you get the car.....

Check out our website ...www.vetteclubs.org....I designed the site for our corvette club....click on pictures, then look for the one that says "Delivery Day". Thats my Greenwood.

Only 2 days away...when are u picking up the car????

Andy

Thanks for the replies guys!

As soon as the paper work is done, my wife will drive me to the seller's house and I'll be cruiz'n...maybe leave a couple of black tire marks for the seller to remember the car by! :bu

BTW, sweet looking vette Andy!

Congrats Stearnman!

Congrats! You now have a condition which is chronic and terminal! Where did you find the LT4 ? There is a thread in the Cruisefest section about the Colorado Caravan contingent headed for Cruisefest in June. Might want to drop a line there to get to know some folks. Don't forget to post some pics and don't forget to wave!

I've been searching all of the main online selling outlets since Feb. this year...the PostNewsClassifieds (local) had one posted there.

As far as the wave is concerned...I've been practicing!:w

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Man, do I ever know how you're feeling! The few days that it took to close the deal about killed me. :W

I've had my LT4 for a year now and I still stop & turn around and look at it and go "oh yeah!" every time I park the car...home, gym, store...it doesn't matter. ;worship

I have it parked right outside my window at work and throughout the day I'll take a glance and go "aaaahhhh, life is good!" :dance

Welcome to the club, you're gonna love it! :Twist
Jeff :w

Rock out with your c--- out!

Be Careful! Those things are known to cause muscle contractions in the right leg, which in turn leads to rubber loss to the rear tires,as well as chronic, adrenaline induced giggling!Congrats on your new LT4 CE!:lou :_rock :cool

AWESOME!!!
Congrats, and best of luck. Let's see some pictures this weekend!:beer

My Friday the 13th seems to have come a day early. :(

Once Thursday was rolling at full steam, it found me and squashed (more like crushed) my enthusiasm all at once. Due to the lack of finances now, I can no longer afford to get this dream car...or any other at this time.

Right now I'm truly at a loss for words. The closest words to discribe are disgust and anger.

I know this isn't going to make you feel any better about your situation, but I believe things happen for a reason. You may not be able to see it now, but maybe someday looking back on this, you will. Maybe someday when you're driving your brand new (with 500 miles or so on the clock) '96 LT-4. You gotta keep the faith! Hang in there,

-John

Dream cars, we all have..Some of us wait a long time to get them....BUT, in the meantime, while it may not be your DREAM car, why not take a look at something a little less costly. MANY, MANY vettes out their for a decent price....Their are major horror stories of purchases everywhere, EBAY included, but I bought both of my vettes on EBAY..checked them out THOROUGHLY..As of this AM, they had 800+ Vettes for sale across the country.. Take a peek...You may be surprised at what you can find...Remember, if the deal sounds TOO GOOD to be true, it probably is..Pick and choose your cars on EBAY..Be smart and you still can have something while DREAMING...It may not be the '63 split, but it develop into your DREAM CAR!!

Put the smile back on your face and start again your search!! :):):)
