77 Corvette 350 turbo.. My shift indicator (the little red thing) is stuck in the first gear, and doesn't move with the shifter. I''m not sure if something is broken, or just disconnected. Anyway, I need to know how to fix this. Any input would be helpful.

This is not a hard fix, but you have to get into the center console witch is a pain. If it is broken you have to remove the console and replace the indicator. If it disconnected you have to slip the indicator over the pin on the shifter that moves it. If you have not had the center console off recently it is probably broken and needs to be replaced. I believe I have seen them in the Corvette parts catalogs.
