Where do you think the most effective shift point should be?
Right before rev limiter or where you reach peak hp & torque numbers, i.e., if you have dyno results, where your peak hp & torque lines cross?

LT4 cars are very different than the TT L98 motors when it comes to peak power bands and obtaining the best acceleration results. For starters, your LT4 motor is making power right up to the very upper RPM range and the torque really doesn't nose over to hard. Your dyno graph is going to show that power is still climbing from 4500-6500 and torque is probably 300-350ft/lbs all the way from 3500 on up. The hp/tq lines typically cross ~1000-1500rpm prior to redline (and hp goes on up from there) So, you're best shifting above the crosspoint in the graph (almost redline in the case of the LT4). After you shift, the motor is still falling right back into the power band!
