My car has a composite rear spring and I have upgraded shocks on my winter to do list. My car is street driven and I am looking for that ride/handling sweet spot. Suggestions?

I have Bilsteins on my 72. The ride is a little harsh, not too bad, and the handling is very good. Tom

Koni classics rebound adjustable, they are great shocks. I used to run those.

I just had the composite rear leaf added to mine too. I had the Monroe Sensatracs put on, and I'm very happy with the handling and the ride. A bit bouncy in the rear, but nothing really bothersome.

Your choices with a composite spring are more limited than with a steel spring; the composite spring requires shocks specifically valved for that application, with more rebound damping, to avoid the "bouncy-bouncy" syndrome.

I just went through this, and I was leaning toward the Edelbrock IAS shocks, but when I went to purchase them, they were listed as back-ordered with no date. I ultimately went with my very close 2nd choice, Bilsteins. Very happy.

So of course, now VB&P has em on sale. My luck. :eyerole
