I have a newly aquired '85 with 41K on it. Should I flush out and change my power steering fluid? The prior owner always had everything done at Chevy, and the car is very well maintained. I was wondering how many of you feel about this.:w

Can't hurt...what I do is once a year suck out whatever I can out of the reservoir and fill it back up...some go to the extent of draining the rack. You may also want to do the master cylinder, transmision, if a manuel do the clutch master cylinder also.

Ditto what Jon said. You shouldn't have to flush the entire system; do this a few times and the fluid will be completely refreshed. ;)

Thanks folks - hey Jon I like your avitar
