Should i grease the entire Speedo Cable before hooking it back up ??

1970 Corvette , big block. Should i grease the entire cable before putting back in the sheath, as well as the female receptacles for the Speedometer and GearBox ???

No. I would just do the bottom half or bottom third. Iirc from other forums, the grease will migrate up shaft. If you grease the whole thing it will get measy as the grease migrates out of the cable housing.
