if i go to sales guy at chevy he doen't seem to know what to charge me. I need help getting sales order started and get a fixed price. Any suggestions? I'm in Sherman oaks, CA.

My suggestion would be, FIND ANOTHER DEALER!!!!!!!!!! Its not that hard for a dealer to get a PRICE!!!!:D

Call any of the big 3 dealers (Maxie Price, Kerbecks, Les Stanford) and get your name on their list. They are all offering the C6 at MSRP. It doesn't matter where you live. They will deliver for free to any Chevy dealer you want.

Theyll deliver to another Chevy dealer? That would be a neat trick but somehow I doubt it!

That's how they all do it! They certainly don't expect everyone to fly or drive to their dealership to pick it up.

I am having mine delivered to TX from my dealer on the east coast. Cost: $0.00.

You still pay the dealer from where you order the car from, but since the car is coming right off the line at BG, and not off the dealer's lot, GM will deliver it anywhere. Why whould they deliver it to the original dealer, when they could put it on a truck going to your dealer and save everybody a big hassle???

If you don't believe me, ask one of the big 3 dealers. Or I'll tell you how mine went when my car is delevered just down the street.

No, no I believe you. What must these dealers think when Corvettes show up on their lots having been ordered somewhere else?

They don't mind, it is money in their pocket. They do the dealer prep and get that part of the price. Then they also get to do any service work over the next few years.

tom...

That's right. They're making a few bucks and will sometime offer a discount on parts and labor if you come back and use them in the future. Either way, I bet they're excited to get a C6 in on the lot!
