Andy - is she using it for....... dare I say it, grocery shopping?

Remo-
Is that against the rules, too?

Jim - I'm not sure but it doesn't seem right. Imagine trying to make it through a decreasing - off camber - right hand turn, while thinking about that carton of eggs in the truck. Perhaps we should run this one by Patrick - the "master of cool".

The Master of Cool is in, here to answer your question, and offer out the Coolness Upgrade Patch to anyone who isn't yet feeling the Corvette cool they need to be feeling, now that Spring is here.

Remo, you are proceeding from a false assumption. A grocery store is just like any other destination. So long as you've followed the other coolness rules regarding appearance (yours and the Corvette's), and so long as you adhered the correct parking strategy, there is nothing inherently uncool about stopping at a grocery store or supermarket and grabbing a couple of bags of provisions.

Now, it will necessitate a proper packing/storage of the bags, since there is the potential for breakable food items to cause a very uncool mess. If you pay attention to that, however, and minimize that risk, you're all set. And what could possibly be cooler, Remo, than starting out your trip with a carton of eggs and after your drive home, having them scrambled up for you by your spirited romp on some back roads?

Thus Speaks "The Master Of Cool"

Patrick - thanks for getting me squared away on the "grocery getter" subject.

You may be right. I took my Z06 and my wife to Costco one evening. Another customer pointed out that Corvettes do not belong at Costco and that the only thing that I should put in my Corvette is "a blond and a bag". :L

here's a shot of mine.

No, we are loading our stuff in the trunk after we bought it in Texas. We rented a car in Baton Rouge and drove to Texas to close the deal then drove our new baby home. I don't think the insurance will cover grocery shopping.

Gee...

then I gues you guys won't like this...

Fossy - the groceries in the truck is one thing....but "where" you're parked is even
more disturbing.

Not sure if it's the angle or lack of light but that looks more Spiral Gray than Pewter. Just saying... ;)

Leon - it's the lighting - there was no spiral gray in 1999. - Remo:cool

I realize that. So it questions whether it's a 1999 or not.

Well now we have a credibility isssue. The owner "says" it's a 1999 coupe......but he's a lawyer.
