With all this great advise, are you planning on adding a crossover pipe?

No, just make it stock side pipes 2 1/2" dia.

I am happy with my spiral baffles in 3 1/2" pipe
under the stock covers. They really flow, and are about the same
volume as factory. (lower pitch though)
3" collectors off the headers, to 3 1/2" back down to 3" SS tips.
Very happy with this set up.

The elect cut out looks cool! (unless it leaked over time)

Where can you get the spiral pipes? I have Hooker shorty headers and I would like to buy pipes already set up for the header flange. I'd hate to take a new set of pipes and have to start cutting them.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'd still like to 'balance' the sound.
