side Window adjustment

Hello

My left side window should be adjusted 5mm up but i do not understand how to do this. I have removed the door trim but i do not see what to do.

DOOR WINDOW ADJUSTMENT

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
   
2. Remove armrest.
   
3. Remove speaker grille.
   
4. Remove door trim panel.
   
5. Remove water separator.
   
6. Adjust glass as necessary at glass guide stops, anti-rattle cushions, regulator bolts top of door and saddle to glass.

SIDE WINDOW GLASS

• 
  Removal
  
• Disconnect battery ground cable.
  
• Remove armrest.
  
• Remove speaker grille.
  
• Remove door trim panel.
  
• Remove water separator.
  
• Mark location and loosen anti-rattle pads (2). Move to facilitate glass removal.
  
• Move regulator into position to access glass nut holes in inner mounting plate.
  
• Mark position and remove stabilizing guide and glass top.
  
• Remove (3) glass to regulator nuts. Remove glass, remove studs and stop on glass through slot on top of door.

I know, you aren't going to replace the glass, but it wasn't until I typed it all that I realized it was more information than you cared for. I'm not going to delete it now that's for sure. :L

It is point number6 i don´t understand witch screw should i loosen i can´t see that on the picture.

Maybe someone who's had actual hands-on experience with this question can step in and help you Magnus, I can't. I have not had occasion to get in there and adjust my windows. Sorry.

The secret ( Window glass)

So you have the door panel off....

And you can see the big piece of tin... towards the TOP of the tin you will see 2 round holes...

Window UP

Look into the holes.....

Look at the window regulator assy twds the bottom arm that is near the base of the glass.

With the window UP you will see the 2 10mm nuts( one foward one back ) that are on actually part of the glass adjusters
(where the glass couples to the regulator arm)

... you can loosen them up a bit and start to move the glass up/down/fwd/ back.

Carefully!!!!

As you check the fit.. you can start snugging them up.

What the assy actually is... is a big washer with a stud tack welded in the middle with a washer on the other side.. inbetween the two washers are rubber gaskets/washers with the window glass sandwiched inbetween. This stud goes into the lower arm and the holes are LARGER then the stud.

When that is done.. adjust the anti rattle felts at the top of the door so they contact the glass.

While we're on this subject, the window glass in the drivers side "jumps" ( only way to describe it ) when it is being closed. This happens when it is about 2 or 3 inches from the top. The glass fits and seals ok ( it's a vette... as well as can be expected ). It doesn't do this on the way down. Any suggestions.
