I am going install Hooker Pipes on my 72 LT-1. I want to block off the rear exhaust cutouts but I dont want to glass them closed as I feel that this would degrade the value of this factory AC numbers matching car. Is there an insert or rear lower facia that fills this in?

Eckler's, Zip, Paragon, Corvette Central and just about every other fiberglass panel supplier sells a replacement fascia that will fill in the exhaust cutouts. I think they have to be glassed in, if you don't want to replace the whole piece then this might be a good time to practice some creative manufacturing and roll your own.
Here's a link to Eckler's panel for a 68-69 car, you can see where the curved section goes into the exhaust cutout.

Here's another supplier:

By the way, my dad has a 70 with sidepipes and the exhaust filler panel, and he did not have to glass it in. I think it's a matter of choice, most cars I see don't glass the panel in.
