I just installed a set of Muskegon Brake (Allen) pipes on my 64 365. They are much louder than the ones they replaced. The crimps in thee pipes are not near as deep as the old ones. The biggest objection I have is that I live in hte city and do not really have a place I can "open it up". I crave opening the 4Bbls but I think it would result in a ticket.
I still have freeway on ramps, but I think when I do the full resto they may end up on ebay.
I also had the chance to take my dad for a ride last week. He thought they were ridiculously loud.
There were some previous posts about baffles that can be fitted in the pipes. Are these for real. Where can they be had?
