I think, I think I may have a battery issue. My battery is now 5 years old and the car is driven about twice a month.

It's odd, the blinkers will sometimes not work, flash, perhaps after the car has been sitting a while.

All lamps are working, even the emergency flashers work when the signal lamps don't.

Any ideas?

It is most likely either the Hazard Switch internal flasher or the Multifunction Switch. The flasher in there performs the turn signal flashing as well as the normal hazard flashing. If it is the Hazard Switch you can replace or install a HyperFlash unit which is easier to install but does not completely replace all the other Hazard internal switches. The next time they do not work push the Hazard Switch on and off several times while the Multifunction Switch is to the left of right to activate the turn signal. If they start working it is the Hazard Switch flasher. You are welcome to email me with your phone number and I can help you. I just started looking at this forum. I have been using the Corvette Forum with Bill Curlee and others up until now. I have resolved a number of issues like yours. I even have come up with a Hazard Switch relocation which still looks stock but allows one to replace it in about 30 seconds if needed.
