Dont know what year you have , but if they are all run behind the motor along the firewall, as my 1970 is, then you can fabricate a cover to hide/shield all the garbage thats on the firewall. I did this by taking some sheetmetal accurately cut and bent so it slips down behind the distributor cap about 12 " , then makes a 90 degree turn toward the firewall which 'caps' all the hoses, wires , etc..from being seen. It is about 18" across . I put some decorative edging around the perimeter of it to dress it up then painted it the same black as the engine bay. Gives it that finished look. Sorry i cant post a pic of it, but if you email me, ill email you back some pics. It not only cleans up the engine bay alot, but, the hoses/wires behind the cover are at a lower temp than out in the open.
